GGMMTV is a company newly set up for the purpose of
marketing and distributing the proprietary compression
technology HVMT (High-quality Video Media Technology)
through its GGMMTV IPTV Delivery System. HVMT boasts
to be more efficient than the present industrial standard
H.264 compression. The core development team of HVMT
and GGMMTV IPTV Delivery System is based in Beijing,
China.
GGMMTV presently markets and distributes the HVMT encoding
program for enterprise servers as well as notebook computers
(for mobile Electronic News Gathering). The various
players (decoding program and viewers) are distributed
freely and are compatible with operating systems running
on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Symbian S60 v.2 or above,
Windows Mobile PPC v.5 or above. Future players will
include operating systems running on Macintosh, Linux,
as well as Symbian UIQ v.3.
HVMT compression technology is presently being used
by a number of content providers in China including
鳳凰資訊, 鳳凰美洲台, 鳳凰歐洲台, CCTV, Beijing TV, 東方衛視, 浙江衛視, 湖南衛視,
江西衛視, 哈哈爾濱新聞綜合, 南京新聞綜合.
GGMMTV is a subsidiary of Hong Kong Hani Holdings Limited
("Hani Group"). The Hani Group was established
in 1997 and has a paid up capital of over HK$40M. The
Group has a diversity of companies covering a wide range
of businesses including corporate finance, securities
broking, financial information platform, information
technology, secure payment gateway, company secretarial
service, import/export trading, and last but not least
consultation service in China. Consisting of multi-discipline
companies, the Group has over 40 full time staff covering
various aspects of the Group's business. The Group's
total turnover for 2007 is approximately HK$19.33 billion
or US$2.48 billion.
